    Key findings

    1 in 10

Drift is already in the library.

In the median library CI scanned, 10% of published assets carried at least one claim that no longer matched the product, policy or price it describes.

    CI, 41 full-library scans, 34,081 sources

    2.3 per week

    New drift arrives every week.

A SaaS help center CI tracked weekly gained 2.3 new drift findings per week. On a quarterly audit cycle, about 30 would pile up between reviews.

    CI, 29 weekly scans

    46%

    L&D leaders already know it.

Senior L&D leaders estimate that 46% of their active learning content is outdated, inaccurate or in need of revision.

    dominKnow 2026 (vendor survey, n=200)

    75%

    The products underneath change faster.

Google says 75% of its new code is now AI-generated, up from more than 25% in October 2024.

Google, Oct 2024 and Apr 2026

    18%

AI reads the old version too.

In 18% of verified findings, the company had already published the correct, newer fact on its own site. An AI index holds both versions.

    CI, 1,959 verified findings

    61M

At market scale, it runs to millions.

CI estimates US mid-market, enterprise and Fortune 500 companies hold about 614 million L&D and customer-education assets, and about 61 million carry a drifted claim.
